well my first year has been terrible almost a complete waste. 3 strains that I ordered from Dr.chronic have given me tiny yeilds and some of the worst weed ive smoked.(orange bud, purple #1 and white berry) Weed that dosent have any resin. Or visable resin anyway. You smoke it and its like you just dont get high. My SOG white berry I flower at 12-18 inches with a 1000 HPS and I only yeild an eighth per plant, if that. WTF? I use organic soil and organic nutes. My flowering romm is 4 ft x 4 ft and stays a nice 80 degrees at the canopy. I test every watering the PH.
Even worse, I cut down a retired whiteberry mother an orange bud mother and 4 little white berry plants, decided to turn them all into hash, filled a plastic grocery bag full of sugar leaf and buds and only got back 3 grams of bubble. Your supposed to get 1 gram mre or less for every 10 grams of trim. And I was using buds. Makes no sense and its costing me hella money to run this shit. I want to suceed in this though.

Here's my last grow AK47 and PPP in hempy journal

8th per plant under 1000 watter = impossible bud unless ur doing something seriously wrong, with no potency and small yields it sounds like your harvesting to early, plants need anywhere from at LEAST.....the very LEAST 8 weeks flower time and its usualy 2 or 3 more weeks after that even, also check ur nutrient list, plants need 16 vital nutes to grow, make sure you got em all covered show me some pics

Im doing everything by the book, believe me. However some of my plants will yellow up at week 5, thats a bit early and it also reduces yeild. The buds are always smaller on the sick ones than on the ones that didnt yellow. But you should have seen 2 of my plants, they were flowered at 12 or more inches and looked like pathetic twigs with sparse small buds on them. I did better with my first grow with a 400 HPS. Ill post some pics of thses pathetic plants Im growing and you'll see what I mean. I always harvest at 8 weeks even though some strains are done at 50-55 days.

u must be doing something wrong dude. genetics definately come into it. but even with a bag seed from some basic thai weed id expect more than that and some crysals aswell. ive just completed my first grow and was very pleased i got about 60 grams per plant but i researched tirelessly and downloaded numerous movies on how to grow. the main ones id recommend would be "jorge cervantes vol 1" and "mr greens i grow chronic". can i see some pics as im sure ill be able to help. i will be posting my grow journal soon. i did BB cheese 2 plants. look out for it.

i would say genetics is very important.

I got over an oz dry from a really crappy bagseed, rootbound, in dirt, running in the shadows of a hydro system under flourescents. You are doing something wrong.

Hope this gives you an idea. The first 4 pics are of a retired mother white berry and the colas never got any bigger than what you see. No resin either. The other 4 are plants that are on thier are 5-6 week flower mark and some of the lower leaves have died. The one plant thats been lollypopped is going to be ready in 3 weeks, LOL! And the last one are what my plants look like before they go into flower. This ones about 15 inches in a 6 inch square container. I'll see if I cant take some better pics. The camera I have sucks.
EDIT- one more thing, pic 3 was the main cola of that plant. As you can see its pretty small. #5 is a whiteberry and orange bud at the same age but different height. If you can see the next ones you can kind of get an idea how theres minimal resin on them.
