Not really that I can think of.. Well distilled water is a safe 7.0, and tomato juice is usually pretty close to 4.1-4.2, but theres no point in going beyond droplet tests if you're going to calibrate like that..
I'll look into possible solutions using distilled water and common pills or something else standardized/replicable though..
There is a hole in your bucket for a diy solution though given the fact that you need a trustworthy reading to calibrate a solution to calibrate your meter..

Distilled vinegar 5% is exactly ph2.5 no matter what brand. Its what I have always used.

Vinegar isn't anymore trustworthy than tomato juice (usually 2.4-2.6), and its pH is further from our range..
The best place to ask would probably be sciencemadness.org, but don't talk about anything drug related there!

Oh salt and distilled water then works pretty well.. 1.00g/L works out to 1000ppm and it scales.. IIRC, correlating EC to NaCl ppm in DH2O is the norm..

Distilled vinegar has to be PH 2.5 by law in the UK due to stupid EU laws so it is extremely reliable, so in future check your facts.

Ok dude, well I don't live in the UK.. I do supervise titration labs etc each and every semester and see first hand results that tell me I'm not wrong..
Regardless ppl buy pH solutions for a reason.. Most meters are more precise than 0.1..
