i cant tell if these are leaves, turning male, or starting to flower? i have the plant under 2600 lumens 24 hours a day, the first 2 weeks it was under 12/12 outside or in kitchen window. it is now 3 and half weeks.

they look to be leaves

usually cant tell sex till like after 4 weeks or so into your grow

so at 5 1/2 weeks in and3 1/2 weeks in mixed light i think black out i think they go 36 hrs and then switch to 12/12 without light leaks would be better a, but they do look like leaves....good luck

ya im gonna say leaves as well. but i got good news brother. if uve started flowering and thats popping its most likely a female, males tend to sex first anyways happy growing

i have not started flowering yet. maybe another week-3 weeks and ill start flowering.

i think hes a little slow

If you are suggesting a dark period of 36 hours before flowering, I honestly would not bother. It may kickstart the flowering period quickly, but it will vastly increase the chances of hermies, since it puts the plant into a stressed state.

The transition to flowering should be as stress-free as possible.

good to know nocturn. i was probably going to put it into dark for maybe 24 hours, would this be a bad idea?

I'd say so. Just switch them straight over. It's not worth the risk of stress, in my opinion.
