    Question Red Stem

Have four very bushy thick and strong plants and one that is filling out but a little more legy. Question is it has lime green leaves and a redish color stem. Does the color tell you anything about them? They are in soil. Mostly mix of miracle grow and organic compost that was commercial...?

Red stems are usually on your sucker leaves and later on in your flowering cycle you can safely remove them for better light pen/air flow to the buds so you can develop your lower buds as well as the major colas.

Cool. So no reason to say it is pre male or female due to stem color? The main stalk was also red and the only one in the bunch. Also my fim, (two) are so thick I cant even tell you. One has like 40 future bud sites and is only 12'' tall. I mean is this normal? You can't hardly even get it open enough to see the stem which is strong and about the size of a little finger in thickness. Have not ever seen on here anyway a pic of two plants this young nearly this bushy.. Just curious. Should post a pic I guess...

Haven't seen any males do it but I've never grown any males out past knowing they are males and trashing them. What strain is it? I've usually seen Sativa dom plants turn red more than Indicas but don't quote me on that because it could just be my experiences. Also your lighting can really determine how much your plant branches out. Lights from below/all around + above lighting = max lower branch development.
