Having read much about the " banana sexing" I tried it on my WW at 2 weeks old , now a week into 12/12 and the two WW with banana and the 2 sweet bud with banana are all female . Every thing about the germ was normal { except one 4 hour period when temp dropped to 58 - yikes ! } and they are all showing female pistals . Before all I had was a 50% male-female ratio and dont want to use "feminized" seed due to exspence and risk of hermys . BTW - having ordered seeds via USPS I recommend weedseed.net , first order took 4 weeks , 2nd took 2 weeks . Ordered from Gypsy Nirvana's Seed Boutique on Oct. 31 and still havent received seeds - its a good bet I wont either . No answer to email so not recommending them .

Very easy - stop at your local grocery and pick up some "nanas" . When you get home cut them into pieces that will fit under your new seedling . Replace after they rot . The ethel gas they emit helps the plant toward the female side . Keep it up until they are 2-3 weeks old . You will get some gnats , it cant be helped . Its a lot cheaper than buying feminized seeds .
