I have a plant that is a few weeks away from being completely finished, that I very much would like to take a shot at regenerating..... Need help from the pro's... This plant came out of a bag of 10 seeds of Nirvanas Ice, but it would take you all of 2 seconds to see that it is something far more special than the rest of the ice and they all look pretty amazing, but this girl, she is just a beauty that I don't want to lose...... Help needed in The Emerald Triangle

Its really no big deal. Im no pro, but all i do is just snip the buds off after she is finished or nearly so and put her back on a light cyycle of 18 on 6 off or 24 hour light. In bout 2 weeks or so she will burst with new growth having double the tips and making several little babies for you to harvest. You know what to do with the clones. Have fun and good luck!

You have to leave veg matter on the plant for it to work .

thanks Doc, I was lucky enough to have FDD chime in last night and he showed me a post of when he did it..... I will be extatic if I can keep this thing alive and get some cuttings off of it

You might ask FDD he has great knowledge but I heard or read somewhere that regeneration causes a loss in vigor both in the mother and the clones taking from her---it has to do with a hormone change at the light change--I don't know why this would cause a problem but you might want to ask FDD before you put the time into it.

personaly i like to reveg and then take clones when the plant has a good amount of material on it. the plants i've re-vegged go through a weird transitional stage ant tend to grow curly leaves at first but if you wait it out, it will start to grow good leaves that are'nt mutated this is when it is time to take clones that seem to grow without mutation. if you clone branches that are already mutated it seems from my observations that the clones never recover 100% and are "usually" dwarfed or hindered in some way.
