I think I found a male banana on my female plant please tell if that is what this is. I have attached a pic if you zoom in you can see the arrows in the picture

a female banana? u mean your plant is hermie...

They are "supposed" to be female, but im experimenting atm, i have a hermie seeds planted to see if they are all female.

All after all its still much easier to clone from a mother plant.

If you didn't try really long and hard to purposely get a pollen sac to form then using that pollen to self the plant is a bad idea to say the least.. MYSTERY HERMS ARE NOT FEMINIZING CANDIDATES!.. The next generation of seeds will likely produce a ton of crop destroying mystery herms..

you want a true female first then clone then force herm

This is a clone of a female that seems to be producing 1 male banana on it and a seed pod I think. I am almost positive that this pollen will produce all females because it is very late in its life 6 weeks and the last week there were some heat problems. I would really like to try this experiment so any help from someone that has done this would be appreciated
