In a way its not for you to decide 100%.. The plant kind of decides how densely you can/should wrap it up.. You can only force your opinion on it so much.. When the side branches get signifigant good luck.. Sometimes it works like a treat, other times its a bit awkward, but it still works fine..
I'm guessing most of the ultra-perfect LST wrapping examples are the result of a couple generations experience with a particular plant/pheno..

This is my Kali Mist 4 weeks into flowering.
I've been tying down the main stem in a circle, she's about half way around, check it out.

Theres one 150w HPS in there too, but I turn it off for pics. I think that'll be enough for 3 plants.
