Default LST'ing fan leaves

I got a couple God Bud plants underneath the lights with my Northern Lights and the God is raping the little bit of room I got under the floro light. So am I able to tie the fan leaves upwards? Like have the fan leaf and stem in the shape of a V? What would happen if I chopped off the fan leaves? I've read that it could be bad for the plant but how bad is it REALLY?

coil wire around the stem, or the stem leaves, and just bend to your desire

i dont recremend you cut ne leaves..tieng it down would not hurt

Can you just tuck a few of the leaves under other leaves? I don't recommend cutting off leaves.
