If you cut 1 inch PVC pipes and drill holes all around it. Then set them up as a small perimeter around the plant. Would the air distribution be boosted to the roots?

I would think it would drain better, if it does, can you boost the frequency of water/nutrients?

I dont know about that one, but maybe you could experiment. i would think the roots would get damaged. I just use air stone in my water tank and a good soil like FOXfarm Oceans which drains very well.

Simply aerating your soil surface with your moisture meter or probe will break up the soil and allow more air penetration. the Pipes arent worth the growing area you would lose.
