Default Co2 humidifier idea

Would this work, I was thinking today and thought I might be able to kill too birds with one stone. My humidity is only around 35% so I could do with a humidifier. When looking on ebay I've seen these Co2 tablets that dissolve in water to give off Co2 into the air. My lightbulb moment was what about putting these tablets in the humidifier tank - would it kick out loads of Co2 with the moisture into the air or am I a dumb arse?

No opinions here?

Has anyone had ANY experience with the Co2 tablets and what humidifiers have you used just for humidity that is? Are the £15 ones on ebay good for purpose?
