Hey guys. I tried to find a relevant thread about this topic but there is none.
We just got a new water pressure tank and all new fitting etc. The water now smells funny but is due to these new plumber fittings. I don't normally check my pH balance as I have never had to before. We are on well water so i have never had a problem in this area before. My question is: Will these fittings affect the pH balance drastically??? I mean with new copper piping and rubber, there has to be some kind of change. Doesn't there? And if there IS a change...would it sent it higher or lower on the pH scale? Thanks ![]()
