im using a 5" 495 cfm inline acoustic fan.. and as far as i can tell by looking thro the passive intakes when the whole thing is sealed, ie the two doors are in place, false doors lol (i just use boards that act like door except no hinges, much easier to get around), the ammount of curculation seems to be excellent, literally every leaf is moving with circulation without any need for any additional fans and the cool tubes are working nicely. dont see any reason to take away any of the ducting. n that filter is huge n wont fit inline with the cool tubes unfortunatly.
