Well.. what with the mortgage crisis I would wager there is an ever-growing influx of unoccupied homes with no one watching closely. Why, there's just such a house right at the end of our road, the owners moved out several months ago with no warning whatsoever. From what other neighbors say they were foreclosed on, but I sure couldn't tell you if anyone from the bank's been out there at all.
