Have you been successfull growing larger plants in what look like those little seedling sponges? I appreciate the insight- I want to be certain of what I need (and what is successful) before laying out the cash and potentially having to spend money on return shipping if I'm making an incorrect assumption.
if you have done this much thinking you should save your money and build your own.

basically, you need an area. a suitable container with cover. an air pump and stone. some hydro nutes. rockwool and net pots. some lights.

thats it. you lights will cost the most. have seen complete grows with CFL only. i found 42w at walmart the other day. 125w equivalent. 8000+lumens

but if your lazy, get the AG then you will see how simple it is. then you can build your own and clone/veg mothers in the AG.
