It took 3 guys (me and two buddies) the better part of a day to do it all, But we had to build the frame for the wall we put up, put up the drywall, reinforce the dresser, light proof everything, fabricate/build the 'door,' lay the floor in the cat room, etc.
Honestly, I had an awesome time building it. We'd work for an hour, then hit the bong. Then work another hour, then... well, you get my point.
