Hey Kochab I have a pretty damn good idea of what you went through. Unfortunatly I am currently addicted to opiates ( Oxyconton is my opiate of choice). At first I just took it to calm me down because I used to have real bad Social Anxiety and it really helped. But one night i was ride home and it hit me that I was an addict. You never see it coming before its to late to stop using. Opiate addiction is like being in a cage, it keeps you from doing the things you love and most of all traveling (which I love) unless you have enough to last. And the worst thing is the withdrawls. Its like having the worst flu in the world, your entire body hurts and you're never comfortable ever until you can get a fix. I have found a natural plant extract that is 100% legal and works wonderfull for any opiate withdrawls and its called Kratom. The strong extracts come in a powder form which you mix in a liquid of your choice and drink it. It feels like true opiate pills and allows me to function rather normally without opiates. As well as giving me that nice calm feeling. So anyone thinking of trying opium or opiates beware of the dangers of addiction.
