If you were to try and breed the plants it wouldnt work out as you might think. Breeders use F1 generations. Those are mixes of two stable strains, their offspring is known as a F1 hybrid. They are a combination of dominant traits and usually outperform either parent. But with each subsequent generation the recessive traits start to show up again. That's the way breeders make their money. If you could easily make your own seeds why buy from them? The best bet is to breed two different strains you have. That way you can make your own F1 hybrid. At least you know they will have all the best traits. If you in breed than you will get the recessive traits showing up again. Eventually it stabilizes after many generations.
