What was found was OLD Weapons.
Here is a List of what was found:- 50 deployed Al-Samoud 2 missiles
- Various equipment, including vehicles, engines and warheads, related to the AS2 missiles
- 2 large propellant casting chambers
- 14 155 mm shells filled with mustard gas, the mustard gas totaling approximately 49 litres and still at high purity
- Approximately 500 ml of thiodiglycol
- Some 122 mm chemical warheads
- Some chemical equipment
- 224.6 kg of expired growth media
All of which were left over from our previous conflict with Iraq.
This was worth invading a country, installing a puppet regime and having a Head of State executed?
Please look up International law as it pertains to such actions.
For as little that was found is it worth 4,000 American lives? Not to mention the Lives of over 100,000 Iraqis?
The Current President is incompetent to say the least. |
Look, Saddam dismantled all the shit he had been working on because HE HAD 6 MONTHS WARNING before we came. Its because all of the damn bureaucracy the president has to deal with that result in a red flag to Saddam's eyes. The system is broke.
What puppet regime are you talking about? We aren't placing who we want in charge of the infrastructure, they are doing they're own thing and they are very nationalistic.
More people die of bee stings a year than a year in Iraq, and everyone who is there signed up, if there was a draft in place I'd sing a different tune, but theres not.
And Fuck (with a capital F) all this international law and U.N. bullshit. They failed to do anything about Iraq for 10 years, they're method failed, we had to step in. In fact, the U.N. hasn't done anything, ever. They royally screw every negotiation and they fail at maintaining peace (BOSNIA!!!)
Every time I hear shit like "The President is incompetent" it renews my disappointment in the American public's mindset and intelligence.
