Hydroponics stores sell everything needed to grow in both soil and hydroponics. I never go anywhere else.

As for the question of what is Mylar. It is the material used on fire blankets. Myself i do not use Mylar, I like Panda Film a lot better. Panda film is heavy visqueen that is black on one side and white on the other. Hydro stores sell this also. Much easier to work with, and last longer also.
