the only problem with reaserching on the internet is that you get info from all the different rasta groups and they are all different....as far as general media rastas are a bunch of dreadlocked murderous ganja smugglers....I have no dreads im clean shaven and I dont smuggle ganja....I am well respected in my community and in my trade in which I own my own bussiness...rasta is how you live not how you worship or look....

also to get a better idea of rasta philosophy google Halie Sellassie and read about some of the things he did and his teachings....Sellassie I doesnt get the historical recognition that other world leaders that have done far less for their people and humanity do...the powers that be dont want people to start thinking with liberty and true freedom from oppression that babylon impose...
