42 Watt Spiral / 2700K: Light Bulbs Etc, Inc.

Good luck to you all and may yer buds be strong and sweet!!!!
I am using 3 of these and a 23 watt daylight for flowering; it is working but I don't have any results yet for plants grown correctly from the start.

Mine cost me about 9 dollars each at the hardware store; 2700k range is the 'interior' bulbs NOT the daylight bulbs. They DO put out HEAT! The ballast does if nothing else, not like an incandescent but they DO generate heat... in an enclosed space you will need ventilation. I highly recommend hooded fixtures or a large hooded fixture that you can put two of them in with a Y socket... hooded is very important as it more than double the light going DOWN onto the plants instead of rafting it up into nothing - CFL's are 360 degree bulbs and a lot is wasted without reflectors; check the grow logs, the people using mylar and hoods have WAY better results.

I posted a thread on the color temps of generic brand bulbs, if you are interested: Generic CFL types and their color temps
