Yes Never Ever use aluminum foil. Your better off using white paper. Wow man you used 7 lights. I had 8 lights 2 inchs away from my 2 plants. but while I was at work well long story short I have one now But if nirvana would get off there ass then I would have some fem seeds sprouting grrrrr.

I now have 5 on my one plant in a pyramid shape like the last guy said. With the 5 24w 6500k cfls my little girl is super happy. not reaching and growing nice and bushy.
I will switch out 3 of the 6500k lights for 2400k and adding one or two more.
A word to the wise. I bought a lot of cfl bulbs on ebay. I got 24 bulbs total for $45 after shipping. 12 6500k and 12 2400k. Not a bad deal if you ran the numbers against home depot.

Oh yeah and your girl looks very happy. Good work man.
