I was just curious..What's the cheapest equipment set up you can get to grow some decent bud for indoor growing?

Can't you just put your plants in a pot and let it feed off light from the window/house lights? Wouldn't that be the best way to save money instead of buying all of those special equipment? Also what is the cheapest someone went and resulted in atleast decent bud?

Just curious why my idea is good or bad.
