We don't stand a chance in hell of ever getting an Independent who supports decriminalization of marijuana without a popular vote system.


You potheads might as well wake up. No-one in the presidential race is going to legalize pot. Ron Paul said he would consider it but after all the opposition from congress would roll in, he'd have to capitulate. The US has treaties all over the world banning marijuana cultivation, sales and consumption. What do you think would happen if they suddenly legalized it? Billions of dollars would be lost, Law enforcement would be paralyzed. It's a no Brainer. the best you can hope for is Medical and maybe local decriminalization, but legalization, not likely.
