Hey Subcool... thanks for the very informative thread. This is just the kind of information that helps us noobs who are still trying to understand the finer points of when to harvest.
One thing that would be helpful is if you edit the posts and indicate in the text where you are describing if you could give us the pic. # attached that you are discussing. I'm sure it's easy for the more experienced gardeners to know exactly what picture goes with what description.... but us noobs have a little more trouble making the connection.
