Its been gorgeous here the last few days so I have been taking advantage of it and getting some much needed work done in my many gardens. With just jeans and a t-shirt. Oh happy days.

I've been cutting down all the dead vines off my clematis and I look down and notice all these holes around one of the roots. Its one of my favourites. a Dr. rupple and I don't know if it is going to make it or not.

I'm not sure exactly what it is but I do know that we have this HUGE snake that lives underneath our back dead.

Its not that I am scared of snakes but this one is about 4 feet long.
It has a limey green body with thin racing stripes along its back and every once in a while its sticks its head out and waggs it tongue at me. Like I am ruining HIS day.

Ha i just noticed I called the snake a him. I suppose it could very well be a female. I've seen another smaller one like it around.
I hope they are not making baby snakes underneath my deck otherwise there is going be trouble.

No that I know what I am going to do about except scream.
Damn snakes.
