The girl I'm dating (while I trust her with my life) doesn't really like the fact that I grow, and secondly, she doesn't like it when I call the plants 'my girls'

Anyone ever had to deal with this? If so, what did you do think I should do? I might go move my set up so that it's out of sight, out of mind.
