 update...on recessing seedlings in AG with pics | |
so you wanted to know how i recess them here goes.follow the pics and the tag lines.
first foto is of all six. the one i will recess is the one to the right of my biggest one.
next is a shot of the one with stretching as it sits in the AG.
ok removed the pod and here is a shot of that with roots
here is another of the roots.
next is the position to remove the top foam piece.(again mine are split in half)
now with the top piece gone i have set the plant lower or "recessed" it. note the position of the leaves to the plastic pod. (i did not, by the way, have any roots growing into the sides of the foam when i removed the top piece.)
here i replaced the top piece.
next is the recessed plant and the final is the end result.
i put the cover back on to help with moisture until it grows again.
i have done this with all of the plants in the pics. you can see from my biggest one that is only 3-4inches how bushy it has gotten so early.
so, if your AG seedlings stretch, feel free to "recess" them.
