dry ice is hella expensive lol i think it cost me 50-100$ for 5 pounds of it i think it was 10 or 15 bucks a pound cant remember lol it doesnt work as good as co2 tank or generator. and you dont put it on the plants i use to put it in pop bottles around the room with water in them just leave the cap off also remember you have to constantly buy dry ice as its hard to keep it stored it only lasts about a week and by then it produces barely any co2
diy co2 setups work good for small ops like sugar and yeast or dry ice but if your doing a whole room you want to use a generator or a tank and regulator...
co2 is important for plants theres about 300ppms of co2 in the air we breathe which is why our plants grow with out a system... when you increase co2 ppm levels you get anywheres from 30%-100% increased growth it helps them transfer and produce and use sugar in combination with photosynthesis so the lights should be ON when you co2... when the lights are off there is no photosynthesis therefor no point in wasting co2 |
