Cool. I have my BA in science also but specialized in diet and nutrition.
I love climbing roses and have about 6 of them plus I used to always plant morning glory seeds each spring at the front of the house but unfortunately it is a house brick wall and in the intense heat the wilt for a while and look ghastly. Now I have my jackmanis there instead.
The climbing roses I have paired with clematis. On one end of my back deck I have 2 climbing roses and 3 climatis and it looks stunning come mid summer.
I have also planted cucumbers and sweetpeas which love lovely as well.
Thanks for contributing your thoughts and ideas twinturbo.
Cool.love the name.

my fall semster at college getting my bachelors in wildlife biology/ecology. I plan to specialize in horticulture and botany. A good climbing flower is morning glories(the best part is watching them close throughout the light cycle in the room or you can trip on them if you want TOO!!!) or climbing roses are a favorite of mine. On one of my vegging room's wall, i put a chicken wire fence along the wall with a 1/2" spacer so that i can use the leftover light to grow my vine plants, Cucmbers, roses and Morning glory. Otherwise the only other additions to my veg room are Calla Lillies(for the ladies), and some wild Michigan Lily bulbs(and rhizomes) i dug out of the woods(just planted in a few days ago).
