howdy in new england we have strains with some sativa that work well outside we have our own gens. when they busted emery buying seeds is risky we put a small fence to keep out rabbits (fences dont keep out deer ) human hair ,piss work real well no problems with deer you don't want to forget the slug dope they will eat like you wont believe we put our's out in may in 2gal. grow bags when they sex out put the females in 10gal.grow bags or 20 gal.barrels for the big strains (12-16 footers) we dig holes for water only. use only promix#2 along with organics only no mirical grow ever hope this helps answer some of your questions
