It is probably not overwatering because I have been watering every 4-5 days, although I do have to increase the size of my drainage holes on the bottom, so possibly slight overwatering.

I just checked the pH..it appears the cheapo pH meter I have does work, however it's so cheap the label is incorrect. It says to check pH you move the switch down, but it is actually the opposite. (figured it out by using vinegar). My nutrient enhanced water has a pH of 5.5, and so does the soil. (Wow would of never guessed huh?)

I'll definitely be fixing that for watering in the future. Question: What can I use that I have laying around to increase pH? I think I heard somewhere that baking soda can be used? And also, if the soil's pH is 5.5, should I add properly pH'd water, or should I add water with a slightly high pH to offset the acidic soil? Or just flush the soil with proper pH water?
