With all due respect, Dank ... its the extreme left, represented here in the forum by our Honorable Mr. Med that is out of touch. I agree ... the so called "conservatives" that you alluded to are out of touch as well. But, they are conservative in name only and now reside between the communists on the hard left with Med, and the luke-warm socialists on the minor left with Mcain. Ronald Reagan was a Conservative. Barry Goldwater was a Conservative. These were guys with huge clangers. The so called "conservatives" left representing us at this point, I'm sorry to say, are all neutered. Not to the point of being pussies like the extreme left is, but neutered just the same.
And, yes you did whoop my ass on the last election. I figured the Dems would take one house ... but two? I don't think anyone except you predicted that one. It was my pleasure to send you the cookies, my friend ... you deserved them.
