actually...

one can veg just fine with a hps =]

not everyone wants to pay the 50+ dollars for a MH conversion bulb for they're ballast (i'm just talking 400w here... 1000w are much more expensive)

seperate rigs? thats more money and more stuff...

HPS will grow a plant fine from seed to harvest
so will a MH

they are better in certain departments for sure, but they both kick ass =]
