I finally broached a real conversation about it with my mom, and I was surprised how excited she was about it. We had a ball discussing this and that, roots, leaves, bud. I showed her my ghetto set-up to water my plants while I was gone and we both laughed our asses off.
It's great to have a neutral topic to discuss, something just between us that's a secret.
