That's right folks. I'm in day 3 of my cab. grow. I've got one seed that has broke the surface today, and another seed that just cracked in the towel today so will be going in soil in the morning.
My cab. has a top and bottom section. The top "not completely done yet" has 2 150w hps, and will be hanging some cfls later on if lower lighting is needed. The lights are mounted on top of a shelf that can be adjusted with the bulbs coming threw the bottom into the grow area.
The bottom part has a 250w cfl for now once i have more seeds I'll add more lights if i need to, its only for vegging them for a few weeks till they are strong enough to handle the hps. The 250 is mounted to the back wall, so the plants will be on the adjustable shelf instead of the lights like the top part.
As for venting well I still have to go get the fans, but it will have a intake coming from the left side some where on the lower end then i will cut out a hole in the right back corner to go up to the top part then have a exhaust and carbon filter on the top left corner, so i am sure that the air is moving across the plants instead of just straight up. I know I'm not the best at explaining things but there a sketch at i drew up and pics.
The 1st month or so they will be grown in "Jungle madness" soil from Lowe's, in coco pots. Then will be moved in to 3 gal. with FF Ocean Forest. FF nutes will also be used.
The purpose of me growing these 2 seeds are more of a test of the cab. on how it handles heat and how the plants handle it. I do have Mango, Haze#1, AK-47, White Widow, Juicy Fruit, and Kahuna, all from BCSeedKing. That I will be growing as soon as I feel safe and sound with this setup.
