I feel for you. I had quit toking for about 3 years but got hit by a transport truck last february. I hurt my back also and was prescribed tramacett ( a pain killer) Well they worked great at first but after a while my body just got accustomed to them and I was in serious pain so I started toking again. Hubby was not impressed to say the least but not only did it work great for my physical pain but also for my psycological pain. I went to my Gp and asked him to sign my papers but he said that he rights had been revoked and that he couldn't so he referred me to a specialist. I had my appointment last friday. The thing is the guy did not believe in the use of marijuana for anything what so ever so it was a complete waste of time BUT one of the things he said which is true is: He did know know anything about me. I had phoned previosly about this and my Gp reassured me that everything would be ok, well it wasn't. So yes, I would get as much paper work ready of your own that you can. Make it as simple as possible for them to go over your case. Do your research but don't throw it in their face either because after all, they all educated in their field and to many of them, this is just an insult. Good luck  |
