Default Setting up my first harvest of 2008.
Well, as this is my first post, I really do not know where to begin ,
so I will try and keep this as organized as possible.
I have been "successfully" growing my own cannabis since 2000.
I started with a sativa strain that stretched and took about 10 weeks to ripen, then was lucky numerous times to receive clones from local growers, all of which were indica blends & took my garden to the next level but smelled beyond anything I could have imagined, so eventually I was evicted , cropped, etc.
Since then needless to say I have learned alot, started to pay attention more, followed rules and have had no problems.

First pics of the last crop.

A small one, with about 6 NL#5 clones under 2 400watt HPS .
I intentionally let them veg for about a month so I could take clones.
It was a small harvest (1/4lb) , but the goal was to plan ahead.

And now the "ahead"
I managed to get about 150 clones from 2 mothers that vegged for 2 months.
I rooted them in 1/2inch rockwool cubes w/humidity domes under a fluorescent shoplight , they took about 3 weeks to all root.
Then transplanted 42 of them into 3 gallon grow bags filled with a mixture of pro-mix and perilite.
I mixed one 4 square foot bag of perilite and 2 blocks of pro-mix.
They were positioned under two 400 watt hps bulbs, and fertilized with a strong mix (900-1000ppm) of general hydroponics flora veg for about 11 days, and like always, I did pinch the center the first or second day, to allow the lower branches to catch up with the tops. The pinch wound has since healed and formed a huge knuckle, I just love it when it does that.
After about 10-11 days (nov 14th) when they started to take off , I added a 1000watts of HPS in the center and moved the 2 400's to the sides and cut the lights back to 12/12.
So now its been 2 weeks , the stretching has ceased, and flowers are now beginning to form.
They have since been watered once a week with GH flora @ 1200ppm. with a ph of 6.0-6.5.
Another week I will bump it up to 1400ppm eventually finishing around 1600ppm and a ph of 6.5-7.0, before flushing.
So far so good, heat and humidity was a issue the first few days with temps above 85 but I have since moved ballasts to the ceiling increased my intake and air circulation and purchased a big ass dehumidifier to suck moisture out of the room.

Any suggestion's or advice, etc would be greatly appreciated.
I have addressed every basic issue with this crop, heat humidity, light, water ph, feed etc.
To add more light would be overkill (already@90watts per square foot) , without co2.
But we all do things different , so let me know if you change anything.

I will try and update this thread weekly as I take pics every 7 days for my personal log.
