mogie, u wouldnt be hiding a proxy u go through. you would LOOK like the proxy you go through in turn hiding your originating ip addr. and pgp is good stuff. there is an open source version called gpg.

anonymous connections: try using the TOR onion routing system, found here Tor: anonymity online this is a publicly available proxy system that uses a lot of jumps (onion routing has layers) to hide your originating spot. even downloads with some extra software to hide browser time stamps and what not.
