I cannot speak for the rest of Canada but I know in B.C. you are allowed to possess anything under a 1/4 on your person and if I remember right you are allowed to grow a small amount without any legal repercussions. I'm not 100% sure on this but to my understanding these are the current laws in B.C.

Also, you are still not allowed to smoke in public or drive while stoned.

-Kant- Not a bad idea its been going on in Vancouver for a couple of years now, I shit you not, I walked into the "Cannabis Cafe" rolled the biggest join possible blazed that shit to my head and had a very nice coffee while scoping some wicked ass bongs and pipes. If you decide to do it let me know I'd enjoy a new place to smoke, you gotta offer munchies though. That was the one thing that they where missing.
