Med, you have unfortunately missed the point of my thread because my hunch is that you have not read the essay I linked.
The author comments on the original perception of the accuracy of Blooms' book and compares it to the state of Music twenty years later (now.)
It discusses the aesthetic perception of beauty and human excellence!
