First time poster here, just looking for advice. I've grown soil and DWC (bubbler) setups before, and wanted to try a setup similar to Al B. Fuct's setup he posted about.
So basically I'm looking to start a closet SoG op using flood and drain.
The grow area will be 2' x 4', in which I plan on having about 15 plants in 7-8" square pots. I want to use 4x 4' t5 3000K bulbs. This will very evenly distribute about 20,000 lumens over the 8 sq ft growing area (2,500 lumens/sq ft). I also plan on having a couple mothers in a separated area of the closet, either in flood/drain or maybe a simple bubbler. My questions are thus:
ventilation is obviously an issue here, and while the heat of the fluoros doesnt bother me much, should i be concerned about CO2 intake? is there a safe (and cheap) way to raise CO2 in such a small area?
I know fluoro doesnt penetrate much, but its SoG so im not worried, but will mothers grow decently under them? (probably stick some cfls over the moms)
Also, how big of a nute tank would you suggest?
any other comments/suggestions?
thanks
