Yeah man. I really didnt see why you were doing that. Then i read you had 2 rooms so i thought you had one i each and started them in one room. The best thing to do is go spend about 50 bucks and put like 10-16 cfls in there. Lowes sells the vanities that will hold 8 lights and with Y adapters on there thats 16 lights. That will start those things off alot better than the 250hps. You can put them like right on the plant, and the blue ones (Daylight or 6500k) will make them things thick and bushy as hell. You definately need to have both of those lights on the plants at all times. And the best thing to is is every time you water them move the ones that are directly under the 400 under the 250 and put the ones under the 250 under the 400. That way they get equal exposure to both lights. Worsk perfect. Youll be amazed at how much bigger and better they will be if you start under cfls then move under 650w. Thats actually alot of light for that size grow room. Youll absolutely love the results!

Edit: Oh, ok i see you start them under some floro's it looks like. Trust me, go get one of those vanities that holds however many lights you want but i would say like 10 or more. Then get some of those 23w 6500k (Daylight). Or get the highest Wattage you can find but make sure the light is like 3500k or higher or the light will be called Daylight. The Softwhite ones are more red so stay way from low kelvins or softwhite lights for starting them.
