That's it exactly. Give it a couple squirts on the stem. It's kind of thick. It won't hurt anything if you get it anywhere, it dries up.

The plant seems more or less hardy though, should I try scraping off the brown part, or try the Daconil first?
Also, it seems to be partially a moisture issue...keeping the AG reservoir partially-full should help here, right? Less chance of excess water reaching the grow sponges and whatnot?
Also, I guess a Humidity meter is now on my shopping list...

I'm pretty sure what I had was Pythium. It started to turn black after awhile, that's when I decided I needed to fix it.
I don't know about scraping off the brown stuff cause I didn't spray it then, like I mentioned above.
Definitely a good idea lowering the res level.
Thermometer/Hygrometers are 6 bucks at walmart.com.
