i received some unrooted clones from a med user friend who moved out of town by mail. they arrived on a hot day so i was not hopeful i put them in rockwool after getting moisture levels adjusted. i then covered them with baggies and placed on a heat mat for 10 days nothing but some stem rot one had a root growing freely in air above the rockwool lol. so i removed them from the rockwool and put them in a mostly perlite vermiculite mix with a bit of soil 2 appear to have begun to root. i really think rockwool is not the way to go it seems a perlite vermiculite mix creates the perfect enviroment with enough moisture but not too much nothing kills clones faster than a medium thats too wet. it seems a moist but not wet medium and good moisture for the foliage to not dry out is the key. normally i would have tossed the cuts after the rockwool but they are special larry og kush 3* back cross males there not out of the woods yet but in my experience once rots start the plant recovers.
