It's not a fire hazard no matter how old it is PROVIDED that you don't put it in contact with flammable material. Set that ballast and transformer on a brick or a sheet of drywall and 1' away from anything flammable.

ty ty there 150s watts but they are very hot hot ..and yes i have a much bigger room then needed, it prolly gets about 85..90 sometimes in the daytime..but ill get a brick tomorow ! and just to let yall know that gas can is water or a differnent kind of stuff..im pretty sure its nuthing flamable
