Hey. Yet again another noob question from me lol. i tried to use the search option but was coming up with stuff not even related to perlite so here my question

I will be transplanting one of my plants in a min or 2 into a larger pot. and i was thinking of adding perlite into the MG potting soil and give that a shot on 1 plant.
Wondering how much of each i should be putting in and if this is a good/bad idea
