I took a clone and used
Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to get 2 or 4 MAIN colas and put it under the screen. The 4 main colas grow super quick during the flowering explosion experienced in the first 2 weeks of flowering. I just kept training them so that any internodes where bud's would grow would be facing up towards the light. In retrospect, I should have placed the plant under the center of the screen and let each of the 4 cola branches stretch to the 4 corners, I think it would have filled in the screen better. There is always next time
When the plant begins to flower you can still train it to line the buds up the way you want them. Once the plants starts budding the stretch phase slows down. At this point I tried my best to even out the heights of the buds so that they'd all grow about evenly. I stopped training completely when the buds were established and started to fatten.
