I too was interested in this line of thinking, it came across when i was trying to figure out how to control the "Wild growth" characteristics of "bagseeds". I wanted to find a viable way to control or stabilize the genetics of the seeds and it brought up if a hermie female could indeed be asexually reproduce... then i was informed that this is the method of femming seeds by seed banks. So i was thinking there might be something to this if you could isolate the herm gene and force it in to a dominate strain that would be fast maturing and autoflowering you probally could get closer over time to a perrenial mj plant... jus an idea not even sure its a correct hypothesis due to my limited background in such
